Substructure & Foundation Works

We execute all substructure works: site clearing, bulk excavation, reduced level dig, foundation construction (pad, strip, raft, or piled foundations), basement construction, and ground floor slab. Our construction teams work closely with our structural engineers to ensure that foundation works are executed precisely to the approved structural design.

Structural Frame Construction

The structural frame is the most critical phase of building construction, and it is the phase where quality control matters most. We construct reinforced concrete frames to our structural engineer’s drawings, with rigorous inspection of reinforcement placement, concrete quality, and formwork before every pour.

Masonry & Blockwork

We construct block walls, brick walls, and other masonry elements with experienced tradespeople, proper mix design for mortar, and thorough quality inspection. We do not allow substandard or incorrectly bonded masonry on our sites.

Roof Structure & Covering

We construct roof structures in reinforced concrete, steel, and timber, and install roof coverings, including long-span aluminium roofing, clay roof tiles, zinc, and bituminous felt, with proper detailing at eaves, ridges, and penetrations to prevent water ingress.

Finishing Works

We deliver interior and exterior finishing works to a high standard, plastering, tiling, painting, screeding, carpentry, metalwork, and external landscaping, coordinated with our M&E installation team to ensure clean, integrated finishes throughout.

M&E Installation

Our M&E installation team installs electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire fighting systems in accordance with the approved M&E design, with proper testing and commissioning before handover.

Our Construction Management Approach

• We maintain a detailed construction programme and report progress against it weekly
• We employ a full-time site engineer and foreman on every project
• We conduct material quality checks, including concrete cube testing and steel mill certificates, on every batch of structural materials
• We photograph all hidden works, reinforcement, service routes, and waterproofing, before they are covered up
• We manage subcontractors directly and take full accountability for their performance
• We provide a snagging inspection and defects period after practical completion

Masterstone Engineering has completed the full construction of the Iragbiji Primary Health Centre in Osun State, a functional, quality-built public health facility that now serves the community.
